Fellowship: Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery

The Division of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking applicants for a one year clinical fellowship in minimally invasive urologic surgery.  This fellowship will focus on advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery techniques in Urologic oncology.  Operative experience will include laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic cytoreductive nephrectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic prostatectomy, robotic cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion and robotic RPLND. In addition, opportunities are available in robotic reconstructive procedures, percutaneous renal access, advanced ureteroscopic management for nephrolithiasis, ureteral strictures and medical management of nephrolithiasis. The fellow will be expected to contribute to resident training and ongoing research projects within the Division of Urology and to develop their own projects through protected research time.

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, a 672 bed teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, is renowned for excellence in patient care, biomedical research, teaching and community service. Located in the heart of the Boston’s Longwood Medical and Academic area, it hosts more than three quarters of a million patient visits annually in and around Boston.
