Alan J. Wein with Penn Urology Residents
Alan J. Wein, MD is
professor and chair of the Division of Urology at the University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Chief of Urology at the Hospital
of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Princeton
University and received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Medicine. He completed residencies in surgery and urology
at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship
at the Harrison Department of Surgical Research in urology at the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

E. Darracot Vaughan, JR., MD is
the chairman emeritus of the Department of Urology and the James
J. Colt Professor of Urology at the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical
College of Cornell University, and the past attending urologist-in-chief
at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Additionally, he serves as attending
surgeon, Department of Urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer
Center, New York.

George W. Drach MD
received his medical degree at (Case) Western Reserve University,
Cleveland, Ohio, and then spent two years in surgical training at
University Hospitals of Cleveland. His training was interrupted
by two years of active duty in the US Navy, part of which time was
spent as Chief Medical Officer of the aircraft carrier USS Valley
Forge. Upon returning to civilian activity, he completed one year
of fellowship in urology (endocrinology) and three years of urology
residency under Dr. William Boyce at Wake Forest University in North
Carolina.

Dr. Chitaley received her PhD from the Department of Physiology at the University of Michigan under the guidance of the internationally known hypertension expert, Dr. Clinton Webb. Her post-doctoral training was conducted at the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington under the mentorship of the Dr. Alexander Clowes. Dr.

Paul H. Lange, MD, FACS

Paul H. Lange, MD, FACS
is chairman emeritus of the Urology department at
the University of Washington. He received his B.A. from Lawrence
College and his M.D. from Washington University Medical School.
He subsequently received clinical and research training at the National
Institutes of Health, Duke University, and the University of Minnesota.
He has served on many editorial boards, including that of the New
England Journal of Medicine, and is a member of many professional
and honorary societies
